The Provisional Family Visa for Relatives of New Zealand Nationals (Class 461) offers a unique opportunity for individuals who are
- Not citizens of New Zealand
- Recognized Family Members of a New Zealand national residing in Australia with a Special Category Visa (subclass 444), or are entitled to receive a Special Category Visa (subclass 444) while accompanying them to Australia
This provisional visa grants the holder the right to reside in Australia for a period of up to five years. Applications can be submitted either from within Australia or from abroad

Only if you are applying under the Graduate stream, you must provide an evidence of having your skills assessed by the relevant authority.
While the checklist varies depending on different cases, some of the common documents required are:
- Current passports or travel documents
